Mary Tennessen, Administrator

As the Administrator for Garden Square of Greeley, Mary oversees the day-to-day operations of the Community. She is also responsible for customer satisfaction, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and licensing regulations.

Mary began her role as Administrator in 1995 when Garden Square opened their doors. She left for a short period of time and returned to Garden Square in 2007. Mary missed working with the Elders in the capacity of Administrator, so coming back home to Garden Square was a perfect fit for both Mary and Garden Square. Mary has a genuine desire to work with others. She is currently on the journey of creating an Elder-directed home that teaches how to care for the human spirit of both those who live and work in long-term cares settings, so that an improvement in quality of life is experienced by all.

Mary joined the Ridgeline family in 2007 and feels privileged to be part of a company that has a passion to serve and honor Elders. She manages Garden Square with the principles of the Mission, where Creating environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and every day, the Vision where there is Elder-directed living that provides a transition to an expanded life, and the Values of integrity, passion, goodness, empathy, evolution, empowerment, and wisdom.

Mary was born and raised in Colorado. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, four children and seven grandchildren. They spend time biking, traveling to fun places, attending sporting events and all of the other activities that go with grandchildren in school. She and her husband are very involved with their church and several non-profit organizations.
